The Edgewater Arts Council is displaying paintings by three members of the Ridgewood Art Institute in the Gallery at the Community Center. Twenty oils, reflecting the Institute’s heritage of traditional realism, are studies in light and atmosphere.

“What they still teach at The Barn is mostly the why of painting, more than the how of it,” said Neda Rose, President of the Edgewater Arts Council.

Catherine Puccio and Lorraine Minetto teach at the hundred year old converted Barn that is home for the prestigious institute. Steven Goodman is the artist who arranged the exhibition with the Edgewater Arts Council. Their paintings are hung on three walls of the Community Center.

There will be a reception for the artists, at the Edgewater Community Center, Thursday evening, June 28, at 7 pm. All are welcome.
